Well, our Newsletter this week has given us lots of laughs whist trying to come up with an appropriate saying and at the end of the day we found the only appropriate saying is “HAPPY EASTER”!! Our good friend “Pearl”, pictured here with us, provided our heading which we thought very appropriate!
I have been told I was a ‘little boring’ last week, in that our Newsletter was ‘straight to business’… So today I have been trying to convince The Team to have an early drink so that we could come up with a bright and cheery opening paragraph… We simply ran out of time, however, we thought we would share The Team, having a celebratory drink, with Mr. Jeeves – to say “Happy Easter” and Congratulations to our clients and to The Team – It has been a long time between drinks… Only because we have not had time to celebrate!
The question has been raised today as to where the Bunny and the Eggs come into play with the Christian celebration of Easter, the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. So I set out to find a ‘short explanation’ for our Newsletter, which proved more difficult than I thought. According to Wikipedia “The Easter Bunny is a folkloric figure and symbol of Easter, depicted as a rabbit bringing Easter eggs. Now to business:
Another settlement this week, so Congratulations to the Sellers and Buyers of the beautiful 1 bedroom apartment in De Ville! Also, to Shelley, who negotiated the Contract!
The Contract on the sought after 2 bedroom apartment in Chidori Court went unconditional this week, so Congratulations to the Seller, Buyer and Carmen!
The 2 bedroom apartment in Spinnaker, mentioned last week, has not yet been released to the market, however, Shelley will be Opening for Inspection on Saturday between 12 and 12:30 pm. On the Gold Coast.....
Queens’ Baton Relay on Tedder Avenue Wednesday 4th April, 2018
The Games are about to begin! As you will be aware the Opening Ceremony of the Commonwealth Games is only days away, April 4th… We expect it will be a very busy and exciting time on the Gold Coast and we are very pleased to have The Queen’s Baton Relay going past our door! The athletes, officials and volunteers have been spotted all over the coast. There are lots of smiling faces soaking up the atmosphere along with a tinge of nervous excitement for the start of the big event. The MBPS Team wish each and everyone one of them the very best of luck and a wonderful time on the Gold Coast during this ‘once in a lifetime’ experience.
The Queen’s Baton Relay will reach the Gold Coast on Easter Sunday, 2nd April, 2018 coming from Brisbane via Coomera, Hope Island, Paradise Point, Runaway Bay and onto Southport and then onto various suburbs before return via Surfers Paradise and Main Beach on Wednesday 4th April ahead of the Opening Ceremony. Welcome to Tedder Avenue Main Waive Restaurant!
The new Main Wave Restaurant has opened for business offering fine Australian dining and has been very well received by both locals and visitors to Tedder Avenue. They have taken over the premises that was previously Chill Restaurant at the northern end of the Tedder Avenue hub.
The menu is varied and reasonably priced and the word ‘excellent’ has been forthcoming from a number of sources who have sampled the cuisine and the service.
We wish the owners, Ami and Vanessa all the very best in their new venture.
