I do hope you all appreciate the “joke”…

There was a very amusing article written by Frances Whiting in the U Magazine in the Sunday Mail last weekend in relation to a secret fantasy in which women wish they could be admitted to hospital – or prison – for a few days. To quote, “..while not serious, requires absolute bed rest, lasts for approximately three to five days, and is most certainly highly contagious.”, i.e. no visitors… It was so appropriate, as I have booked myself into a local ‘resort’ to have a little R & R while they slip in a new hip! Those of you who have seen me limping around, will say “about time”… Whilst most would be dismayed at the thought, as this article states “I plan to rest, read some books, and think about all the things I never have the time to dwell on”. The sketch in the article was great – it showed a woman in a hospital bed surrounded by books with a glass of red in her hand… How appropriate? I would have loved to have shared a copy of the article, however, we thought we might be in trouble with the artist, so refrained... In any event, I will probably be doing my accounting rather than reading books – much more productive!

So, in my absence business will go on as usual with The MBPS Team on call and working hard, as always! And, I will be back on the phone in just a couple of days!
