As you may recall from last week, Annette had wanted to insert a particular illustration which appeared in the U Magazine in the Sunday Mail a couple of weeks ago… we are very pleased to say that the illustrator has graciously given his permission for us to use it this week… which is very appropriate, although we are not sure if Annette is up to the ‘glass of red wine’ phase just yet! Annette said ‘who says so’!!

We would like to thank so many of you for your well wishes, which we have passed on. We are pleased to say that Annette has come through the ‘slipping in of the hip’ and is now in the recovery phase.
In the meantime, it has been a flurry of activity at the office! The team have many irons in the fire and in both on-going negotiations and upcoming new listings…. So watch this space! Apartment 130 Xanadu North settled this week, all parties were ecstatic with the result! This was a truly ‘special one’ for Annette who negotiated the sale- “the epitome of fitting the jigsaw puzzle”!
It was ‘fitting the right buyer with the right property at the right time’. There was talk of a bubbly or two to celebrate by both the sellers and the buyers!
We have been very busy in Property Management too… leased the Sunbird Apartment, the Liberty Pacific apartment and a new unit 2 bedroom unit in ‘Riverbend’, Ferny Avenue in Surfers Paradise, which was leased before going live to market!
There has been an increase in both buyer and tenant enquiries post the Commonwealth Games, so if you are thinking of selling or leasing, now is the time to act.

The Gold Coast Memory Walk & Jog being held at Pratten Park, Broadbeach on Sunday 10 June, 2018, being held by Dementia Australia, promises to be bigger and better than ever! Come and enjoy the beautiful beachside walking track, as well as entertainment, activities for the kids, delicious food and coffee.
The first 500 people to register will receive a FREE Memory Walk & Jog event T-shirt.
The event starts at 7:00 am and runs through to 11:00 am. Register for the 2.5 kilometre walk, 5 kilometre walk or 6.5 kilometre run and help us help those impacted by dementia by joining us for the race against dementia. Fees run from $0 - $35.00 (age dependent)
All funds raised increase Dementia Australia's ability to provide vital support services, such as counselling, support groups, education to help family carers and professional training across Queensland. These services reduce feelings of isolation and empower people living with dementia and those caring for them. With your help, they can make sure that their support is always available to those who need it.
