It's all about quality of life and finding a happy balance between work and friends and family..
I must apologise, once again, for not sending our Newsletter last week. This time I am not using the excuse “we were busy…”, but more, that I was finding a little of that ‘happy balance’….
I actually wrote this Newsletter last week and today The Team suggested I change the heading to “Persistence Prevails…" as the Cable Beach Apartment 2 has finally gone under “unconditional” Contract!! We would like to say Congratulations and Thank you, to the Seller’s, who kindly allowed us the opportunity to be “persistent” …. Another saying – “Persistence and resilience only come from having been given the chance to work through difficult problems”…. Gever Tulley.
In addition to our exciting news about Cable Beach - over the last fortnight: Apartment 32 Contessa went under ‘conditional’ Contract this week!
Two new listings - a fully furnished, 1 bedroom apartment on Level 19 in De Ville, listed at $489,000, which is featured below, so please call Shelley to view – 0408 000 088. There is a general feeling positivity and optimism in Main Beach at the moment that the market will start to move in the upward direction in the near future, notwithstanding the negativity about the ‘world market’.
In support of that theory is the ‘lack of stock’… Once again, it is all about supply and demand and that the moment we have the demand, with little supply - so, watch this space…..
We have the same scenario in Property Management, having tenanted all bar one of our available rental properties. So, once again, we need more ‘stock’. Mr. Jeeves has received a lot of attention from the many tourists visiting Tedder Avenue during the week with many photographs taken and compliments galore, especially those from overseas! I was very tempted to put a priceless photograph in the Newlsetter this week – a very large man, who laid down on the footpath to have his picture taken with Mr. Jeeves. We enjoyed the entertainment!!

ITU World Triathlon Grand Final - Gold Coast
Get ready for a huge event to be held on the Gold Coast between Wednesday 12th September and Sunday 16th September, 2018.
More than 5,000 of the world’s best elite and age group triathletes will be heading to Queensland for the final race of the 2018 season. Athletes representing 46 nations will be competing at Southport Broadwater Parklands, the site of the highly successful ITU World Triathlon Gold Coast and home to the 2009 ITU World Championships.
There will be various road closures commencing at 7:00 am on Thursday 13th September through to Sunday 16th September.
