This week at MBPS
Some people look at things and say ‘why?” We dream of things and say “why not?”
Our very special and supportive local, known to us all as “Pearl”, provided our saying this week. Subsequently he and I both struggled to fit our saying into our ‘story’ this week. It can apply to so many things… So, in the end we decided – what does it matter, it is a great saying and it will have its own meaning to each individual….
Then, appropriately so, another of our locals came into our shop today wearing “odd socks”… We must admit she looked a little odd in shorts “odd socks” and shoes….. We then discovered that this coming week is Mental Health Week (6-14 October 2018) and in support of Mental Health Week, today was ”Odd Socks Day…because anyone can have an odd day”. At MBPS this week – it has been incredibly busy with, amongst other things:
Two New Listings – Apartment 3 Mainway Lodge, a courtyard apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 car space, in an older walk-up complex, listed at $495,00 and Apartment 30 Xanadu, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathroom and 1 car space listed at $848,000. Apartment 1003 Liberty Pacific is now SOLD, with a new unconditional contract having been negotiated this week – congratulations to the Sellers and Buyer! Also to Carmen, who negotiated the sale!
We also had two settlements this week, Apartment 3C Sunbird and Apartment 12 Seychelles – well done Shelley! And, congratulations to the happy Sellers and Buyers!
FYI - Daylight Savings comes into play again at 2:00 am on Sunday morning. Although Queensland does not add an hour onto the clock it does mean that we are 1 hour behind our New South Wales and Victorian neighbours!
