Well never a dull moment at MBPS…. Late with the Newsletter, once again, due to another ‘yes’ moment. One of our lovely locals dropped into the shop just after 5 pm and thought a glass of Champaign was in order and so it was… So, after a quick glass, or two, then dinner was in order… There was a very good reason for both, but for now we are sworn to secrecy! All will be revealed soon….
Our news is brief this week, as the ‘jig saw puzzles’ have been a little slow falling into place, with a lot of work being put into a number of areas, listings, sales and rentals, all of which will come to fruition in the near future. So, watch this space….
We would like to Congratulate the happy Sellers and Buyers of Apartment 4 Chidori Court, which settled today! Also, Congratulations to Shelley, who negotiated the sale!
On the Property Management front, we have one property now available. An unfurnished 2 bedroom apartment in Melaleuca, listed at $420.00 per week. As always, we are seeking new properties to Lease. It seems we are never short of good tenants, who sadly we cannot always accommodate. Amongst those at the moment are a very nice mature couple with a gorgeous little dog – they must find a new home by early December. Please contact Tania, our Property Manager, if you know of any properties becoming available or if you would like a rental appraisal.

National Ride2 Work Day
It is National Ride2 Work Day on Wednesday 17th October, 2018.
National Ride2Work Day is Australia’s largest celebration of commuter riding. Held annually in October. The day celebrates the benefits of riding to work and brings together the communities that support it. The main objective of the day is to normalise the idea of riding to work.

On the Gold Coast.....
Gold Coast 600
Preparations are full speed ahead, pardon the pun… for the Gold Coast 600, which starts next Friday, 19th October and runs through to Sunday 22nd October, so we thought we would let you know of the two major changes to traffic conditions during the event:-
Monday 15 October at 12.01am – the track precinct becomes one-way, anti-clockwise race direction. Southbound lanes on Gold Coast Highway from Tedder Ave to Ferny Ave are closed and Northbound lanes will operate as a two-way system until morning of Tuesday 23 October.
Friday 19 October at 7am – the track closed for racing. There is no access to the track each day between 7.00am and 7.00pm and is limited to local traffic with correct accreditation/passes between 7.00pm and 7.00am each day. Residents are advised to ensure they have left the track precinct by 6:30am each day to avoid the lock out. The road is returned to normal direction with lanes open at 5.00am Tuesday 23 October.
