Deliziosa, in English – Delicious! Our quote today came from an email sent to me this week by a dear friend, who I met through MBPS - knowing my fetish for Italy and everything Italian! The email contained words and phrases that don't exist in English. Once again, I thought - how lucky are we to have met so many special people through an industry, that is rated very low on the list for most…
I thought I would share a couple of the Italian phrases that amused me…
“Non tutte le ciambelle riescono col buco, or “Not all doughnuts come out with a hole.” Sure, you might expect them to, but that’s not the way the world - or the pastry shop - works. Things don’t always turn out as planned. But hey, enjoy your doughnut.”
Conosco i miei polli, or literally “I know my chickens,” actually means "I know who I'm dealing with" or “I know what I’m talking about.”
We have continued to be busy this week…
I was very pleased to have been in a position to present three offers on Contract for the one property - the beautiful Courtyard apartment in Main Place. It only went out to the market late Friday and was sold Tuesday. Congratulations to the happy Sellers and Buyers!
Apartment 23, Chidori Court, also went under ‘conditional’ Contract this week – Congratulations to Carmen who negotiated the contract!
We have now received the photographs of the ‘on the beach’ apartment in Beachside Tower, which we mentioned last week, so we are releasing it now to our clients, prior to going out to the market next week – it is featured below – the views are truly amazing!
We have also obtained the authority to sell a few more “quiet” listings, which will be released to the market over the next few weeks, once they are available to view, so watch this space or please feel free to contact us with your ‘wish list’, which maybe on our ‘quiet list’…
In property management this week – we did have one apartment become available in Penola Court, which is already under application… We also have another couple of apartments becoming available shortly, which may or may not ‘hit the market’, including a beautifully renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in Cronin Palms at $550.00 per week. As always, “rental properties required”!

TedderVillage
Our lovely locals Steve and Claire, who have been working on a new website based information and promotion of Tedder Avenue and our great Main Beach Village for many years, released TedderVillage this week.
I received the first edition of Tedder Village’s Email Magazine yesterday and I was amazed and the word rocambolesco came to mind… Another word I learnt this week from my dear friend’s email - which roughly translates to “fantastic” and “incredible”!

Australian PGA Championship at RACQ Royal Pines Resort

The Australian PGA Championship is back at RACV Royal Pines Resort, on the Gold Coast in Queensland from 29 November to 2 December, 2018.
Marc Leishman, Cameron Smith and Andrew ‘Beef’ Johnston will headline a stellar list of Australian and international players who will compete for the Joe Kirkwood Cup.
The 2018 tournament will feature an array of entertainment on and off the course, but it’s the Million Dollar Hole where the tournament really comes alive. While players aim to ace their way to a big pay day, fans will be celebrating in the sun with great food, music and entertainment.
The Australian PGA Championship is one of the PGA of Australia’s flagship events; co-sanctioned by the European Tour and ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia. The tournament honour roll features an incredible list of past champions including Cameron Smith (2017), Harold Varner III (2016) Adam Scott (2013) Greg Chalmers (2014 & 2011), Peter Senior (2010) and Geoff Ogilvy (2008).
