This week at MBPS

If you fail to plan... You plan to fail!

We certainly did not fail to plan and thankfully all that planning paid off this week with the opening of our new Property Management Division on the corner of Tedder and Peak Avenues - just a few steps from our Sales office. If you had seen the flurry of activity between the two shops earlier this week, you could have been forgiven for thinking otherwise… However, apart from a few little technical glitches along the way, we are up and running in the new premises, thanks to a great job with the fit-out by our Operations Manager, Bren Kleinert and to the incredibly valuable MBPS Team effort - All our plans have come to a successful result!

The new Property Management team of Dian Currie - Manager, Tania Manzelli and Linda Currie – Property Managers, have all put in a fantastic effort in settling in and providing a seamless transition with the merging of the portfolios. And, a big thank you to the rest of the MBPS Team for their support and assistance from the onset of this new chapter!

In the Sales Department…

Featured below is our New Listing this week, Apartment 7 Xanadu East, which presents great value at $749,000! A 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, centre apartment on Level 4, with Beach views!! As seen in the photographs - it truly does have beach views… The apartment must be viewed to be appreciated! The Chidori Court contract is now unconditional, much to the delight of the sellers and buyers and Carmen!  We have a few other ‘things on the boil’, which we hope to be able to report next week.

We also presented a new listing to the market this week, an unfurnished 3 bedroom, 2-storey Townhouse in ‘Leskas Place’ on Pacific Street, only a stone’s throw from the beach, listed at $520 pw.

Mr. Jeeves' adventure this week!

To our surprise Mr Jeeves was ‘duck-napped’ on Wednesday...  Well we were not really that surprised, as this happens on semi-regular basis, but usually only to a few doors up or down Tedder Avenue.

Our ‘lovely’ local 'duck-napper' decided Mr Jeeves would enjoy many (mis)adventures farther afield… A variety of photos flowed through on SMS throughout the day, which kept us well entertained despite our pleadings for Mr Jeeves’ safe return.

Well, he did make his way home safe and well by the end of the afternoon, only minus one missing thong – not bad considering the day he had at the beach, lounging on an apartment balcony, a dip in a pool, up a tree in Burleigh, frequenting a few bars & clubs, and a few power naps along the way.
