We wish you and your family a joyful, bright, healthy, prosperous and happiest new Year ahead!
This is, of course, the last of our Newsletters for 2018 and I am on my 3rd cup of tea – don’t worry it is morning… Yes, once again, I am late… People have been telling me to ‘get a balance’, ‘don’t work so much’… I think I might have over balanced – another night out. Thus, I missed the press last evening – my apologies!
And, what a year it has been at MBPS! In 2018 we SOLD many properties, thanks to our valued clients, both Sellers and Buyers – We PURCHASED thanks to Maryon of Maryon’s Shoes for our great new location to house our Property Management Division and thanks to Dian and Peter Currie who allowed us to ‘acquire’ their rent roll, which increased our Property Management Division by two thirds… A very busy year indeed!
We would like to thank everyone who supported us in so many ways throughout the year, our valued clients, both Sellers and Buyers, our lovely supportive locals in the Main Beach Village, our own Team Members and of course all of you who continue to stay in touch through our Newsletters. We have shared below a few pics of us seeing out the ‘old year’ – some of the reasons the Newsletters have recently either been late or non-existent - we have not even arrived at the New Year yet…

The sale of the beautiful ‘old’ house at 47 Woodroffe Avenue settled on the 17th December – Congratulations to the believers in the house, the Seller, the Buyers and MBPS…
Apartment 3 Mainway Lodge went under Contract on Sunday, 23rd December, so congratulations to Carmen and me, who negotiated the sale!
We have listed 3 new properties for sale. Two of which are being presented to our clients initially, prior to going out to market in the New Year. They are:
Apartment 103 in Xanadu North - one of those sought after centre apartments, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a huge wrap-around usable balcony, on level 9 with ocean views. We are currently awaiting confirmation on the list price, however, it will be priced to sell. The apartment is much loved and is only being sold due to the overseas owner’s difficulty in travelling across the world to visit. The apartment has been in the holiday pool for some years and has been kept up to a high standard. Whilst the apartment has not yet been launched on our website, photographs are available upon request and inspections at any time by appointment.
Apartment 28 in Ocean Sands – a ‘like new’, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, with a very recent high quality renovation. The renovation was carried out by the current owners for themselves, not with the intention of selling. A change in
circumstances and their need to sadly move away from Main Beach is the only reason the property will go on the market. It is truly an amazing apartment on Level 6 with lovely Broadwater Views and will sell at $920,000. We are currently awaiting photographs, however, inspections can be arranged by appointment at any time.
Apartment 7 Peak Lodge will not go out to the market. It is being offered to our clients only, as the owner will also be relocating and will either sell or rent prior to their departure in February. In Property Management this week - we have only two apartments still available. They are both located in Sunbird Resort and are featured below. It has been like a clearance sale in Property Management, with all others going under application in the past 2 weeks….. Who said, “this time of year is quiet”???

Gold Coast New Year’s Carnival Celebrations! Our home and the renowned holiday playground gets set to host a colourful carnival of rides and attractions for all ages across five days in the lead up to 2019.
