Have I mentioned before – what a lovely community we have here in Main Beach? Yes, of course I have… However, it is highlighted again tonight, with a number of regular locals passing by our office saying – ‘go home..’, because I leave the doors open, whilst I ‘potter’. Little do they know that in here tonight I have been enjoying my ‘glass of red’ and Pizza, whilst I completed a few ‘admin’ tasks before Cathy, our Administration Manager, who has been on leave for the Christmas break, comes back on Monday and catches me out… Anyway, the Pizza was great (thank you Senza Nome!) and the red wine helped, together with our lovely locals who care! People say, “get a life” and “don’t work so hard” – I say “WHY”? “I am having fun!” I have a philosophy in life - “If you are not having fun in what ever you are doing, than don’t do it”…
So, on with the business at hand…
Please view our two new listings featured below, Apartment 28 Ocean Sands and Apartment 103 Xanadu North. We did mention them last week. We are not conducting Open Homes on either of them at this stage, however, they are easily accessible and able to be viewed at any time by appointment. So please call us to view.
This week Apartment 12C Beachside Tower went under ‘conditional’ Contract, prior to going out to the ‘worldwide’ market. Congratulations to the Sellers and Buyer!

Pop up shop - Linda Klarfeld
Renowned sculptor Linda Klarfeld has this week opened a pop up on Tedder exhibiting a range of her superb pieces until 17 January. Moving up to the Gold Coast last year, the very talented Linda focusses on capturing life in her sculptures and she has over 30 public monuments in Australia. What a privilege for Main Beach, her pop up right here on Tedder Ave is a limited time chance to see her pieces first hand and maybe take one home. Location: Tedder Avenue, a few doors down from Milan, open everyday 9am-8pm until 17 January.

2019 The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival
The sun will rise over the 2019 The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival which kicks off on Tuesday, 8 January with the race Barrier Draw takes centre stage on the Surfers Paradise foreshore from 6am. The foreshore will be a hive of activity with food and beverage options available to purchase from the breakfast market.
At approximately 8:30am all eyes will turn towards the ocean for the spectacle of several thoroughbreds with champion jockeys on board, gallop down the pristine sands of Surfers Paradise.
The connections of every runner in the field of the 2019 $2 million The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic will arrive in style before randomly choosing the barrier from which their horse will start on Raceday, which is Saturday 12th January.
