We are in the positive energy business… So you can imagine how we felt whilst reading the article published in the Gold Coast Bulletin on Tuesday - “Property prices in Gold Coast’s Main Beach are soaring”. In the article, the writer states, “MAIN Beach is back in vogue” and further “The median property price in the beachfront suburb surged 29.2 per cent to $1,437,500 in the past year, according to REA’s Property Outlook Report January 2019.” A great article for Main Beach in general, not only for property owners, but for business… Read more through the link below.
Well those positive vibes, or “energy” is certainly paying off – I do not know where to commence… So much for my “New Year’s Resolution” of getting the Newsletter out early…
We have, once again, been incredibly busy. If only half of our Appraisals turn into Listings, we will be very happy… So, watch this space!
In the meantime, this week we have gone out to the market with Apartment 62 Xanadu East, which has an amazing high quality renovation and is listed at only $949,000. Also, just released to the market, Apartment 103 in Xanadu North. A soughtafter centre apartment on Level 9, which has great ocean views, with a garden feel, as it just looks over the pine trees out to sea… It is priced to sell at $850,000. They are featured below and will both be Open for viewing on Saturday and Sunday.
We have a very motivated seller, with the owner of Apartment 30 Xanadu East saying, “what must we do to sell the apartment?” Price reduction? – not required, but access needed! Also, ‘under Contract’ this week is apartment 11 Sainte Maxime and Apartment 7 Peak Lodge, which was for rent or sale last weekend and we were inundated with both buyers and sellers… I must say, ‘well done’ to Shelley for negotiating the Contracts on Axis and Sainte Maxime!
There is still more in the mix that we are not at liberty to announce so, once again, watch this space – I did say it was a ‘busy’ week…
Oh, there is more – Apartment 23 Chidori Court settled this week. Congratulations to the Sellers and Buyers! And, to Carmen who facilitated the sale!
Speaking of Carmen - as I glanced through the listings on our website and see my name repeatedly, I felt I should explain – Carmen is on leave at the moment in the USA, as she went to welcome into the world her new baby Grandson, Noha. Congratulations Carmen and family!!! I know, she is a very young Grandmother… So, I am babysitting (pardon the pun..) Carmen’s listings. If she is not careful, I will have them all sold before she gets back – so come on home, Carmen!

It has also been a very busy week in Property Management, with both the 2 bedroom apartments in Sunbird and the 3 bedroom apartment in The Waterford, all being leased. Just released to the market for rent is a very well presented, fully furnished 3 bedroom apartment in Cable Beach Apartments, which will be available in mid-February and is being offered at $790.00 per week. Cable Beach Apartments has one apartment per floor and situated in peaceful surroundings overlooking the Nerang river.
