Our saying this week seemed very apt, given it is the AFL ‘Grand Final’ weekend! May the best team win – and may they all play well!
It should not be about winning it should be about how the game is played… Another ‘life lesson’ that I learnt at a very young age – once again, from my dear ‘young’ Dad!
This, of course, also applies to all aspects of life, including business, which is often won or lost through how one competes… We hear from buyers regularly that Agents speak negatively about properties that are listed with other Agents, rather than speaking positively about the property they are selling - that is poor form….

Main Beach
GC 600 Prepartions
Preparations are underway in Main Beach for the set up for the GC 600 on the 26th and 27th September 2019.
Listed below are the planned works for WEEK 3 (September 30 – October 4) of the Vodafone Gold Coast 600 track construction.
The focus is on the Main Beach area with the following streets affected:-
• Monday & Tuesday – Hill Parade, Serisier Ave and Breaker St
• Wednesday & Thursday – Main Beach Parade
For those buildings scheduled for barrier installs (Crest, Aloha Lane, Contessa, Inlet, Axis, Malibu, Waterford, Ocean Park Towers, 13 Breaker), GC 600 Supercars will send a note for residents and guests detailing the works.
For those travelling around the track precinct, you would have seen the huge amount of work already undertaken by the Supercar team! It is quite incredible how quickly grandstands are built and barriers installed.
