On Australia Day we celebrate all the things we love about Australia: land, sense of fair go, lifestyle, democracy, the freedoms we enjoy but particularly our people.
This week at MBPS
Australian Day this year is particularly significant to us, as we welcome the latest addition to our MBPS Team, Samira Abidi. Whilst Samira is one year away from being able to become an Australian Citizen, her husband Iman, will be celebrating his first Australian Day as an ‘Aussie’, having only obtaining his citizenship in November. Congratulations Iman!
Samira, pictured here, is my new assistant and I have been very remiss in not introducing Samira sooner, as she has been with the Team for some months now. Her talents seem endless and with her experience in both marketing and real estate sales, we are finding her invaluable… Not to mention her endless desire to ‘help’ everyone - a warm welcome to the MBPS Team Samira!
In Sales this week, which must say congratulations to the happy Sellers and Buyers of Apartment 80 ‘Xanadu North’ which settled this week. Also, to Carmen and myself, who facilitated the sale!

Australia Day Celebrations – Sunday 26th January, 2020
There will be many options to celebrate Australia Day 2020 with the biggest event being the Gold Coast City Council’s Australia Day Party at Broadwater Parklands from 4:00 pm. There will be live entertainment on the main stage plus JJ Richards ‘Aussie Activities Zone’, Art Activities, beach volleyball on the foreshore. The Fireworks begin at 7:45 pm.
Pack your sunscreen, hat and a picnic rug and gather your family and friends for a wonderful afternoon of food, fun and live music. Bring your own water bottle and visit the free water refill station to stay hydrated! For more information click on the link below.
