This week at MBPS
Venture outside your comfort zone... The rewards are worth it!
Well, it has taken until the year 2020 for MBPS to embrace the new world of ‘social media’, although we have had a Facebook page for a number of years, we have not utilised its features to its full capacity. The New Year has brought ‘social media awakening’ - although a lot of you have been telling me this for some time now…
So, in our efforts to gather more likes and testimonials on Facebook, we would like our ‘friends’ out there to LIKE and FOLLOW our page and give us a 5 Star rating (*****) for what you like best about the MBPS Team i.e. ‘Mr Jeeves’ or ‘Furry Friends Office’ or ‘Most Fun Team’ or ‘Best Real Estate Agents’ if you have bought or sold through the MBPS Team or we manage/have managed your property.

In Sales this week, we have two new listings, however, they are not quite ready to go to market, so at this stage we can only suggest that you call us if you are interested in a 3 bedroom apartment, with pool and garden views at $795,000 or a 2 bedroom apartment with views of the ocean and city skylights, at $625,000… Or, simply watch this space!
We also had a couple of ‘sudden’ contracts on apartments in Xanadu this week. We did not have them listed and in fact, one was listed with another agent, but had not even ‘hit the market’… Our happy Xanadu owners upgraded from a ‘back western aspect’ apartment to an Ocean view apartment overnight. Their upgrade being facilitated by a buyer who had been ‘waiting in the wings’ after missing out on the purchase of the apartment when it was last sold just over a year ago. It really was a case of ‘putting the jig-saw-puzzle together’.
We were only saying, once again this week, how lucky are we, to be in a position to be the ‘conduit’ for those people looking for ‘change’ and for those looking to find their new home!
In Property Management this week, we have 2 new listings in Main Beach – A 2 bedroom, beautifully renovated apartment with Broadwater views in “The Meriton” listed at $625 per week and a pristine ‘large’ 1 bedroom apartment in “Oscar on Main” listed at $480 per week. The smaller 1 bedroom apartment in La Joya, which was listed at $370 per week has had a significant amount of interest, with three prospective tenant’s applications already being processed…
So, a very busy week all-around…

Thyme Café has moved
Thyme Café has moved two doors along, after 13 years in the same location. The very popular Thyme Café will operate from the former Local and Co. premises… or for those of you who go back a little in time (pardon the pun…) the former location of the Blue Grotto Restaurant.
