Our saying this week is relating to being ‘busy’, as that is what we are… However, I think it is very important that people know that, whilst we are busy, we are never ‘too’ busy - to take the time to provide information or have a chat (my favourite)…
It suddenly dawned on me this week when people were saying “here is the busy one” and “you work so hard”, it could be seen as a negative rather than a positive… They may think that we are too busy to “assist” and they may not realise that we are not ‘working hard’ but rather enjoying what ‘we do’… So please, if we look busy, remember – we are never too busy! And, we love a ‘chat’…
Speaking of busy – this week in Sales:
The very spacious, tastefully renovated apartment in Liberty Pacific that was available for sale briefly pre COVID is now being released to the market. It is featured below and once again, must be seen to be appreciated. The thought that has gone into the renovation, such as storage - there is not a cavity that has not been utilised. This is the apartment that has two of everything – 2 bedrooms, 2 living rooms (one potentially a 3rd bedroom), 2 bathrooms, 2 car parks and 2 storage cages... There is a “virtual walk through” online for those of you who are not able to attend to view, however, for those who can, please call us to arrange a private inspection at any time.
Also featured below is the stunning 2 bedroom apartment on Level 3 of Park Lane, which when speaking of ‘value’ as we did last week – is just that at $848,000! The apartment also has a quality renovation with nothing left to do…
And, they say that the market is slow – we are not sure where “they” are – We released Apartment 501 Axis to the market last Wednesday evening and ‘the flood gates did open’, with enquiry flooding in and umpteen inspections resulting in “multiple offers on Contract” which were all presented to the Seller and the apartment SOLD, ‘cash unconditional’, on Monday evening… Congratulations to the Seller, one of our long-time friends and clients and to the very happy Buyers. Also, to Carmen and myself who negotiated the sale!
One of those ‘unmentionable’ Contracts is now unconditional and may settle as soon as next week. It is possible to ‘accidently’ sell something? Well, I feel that is what I did… Approximately four months ago a lovely young man viewed the apartment that we have for sale at 35 Breaker Street. It did not suit him, so he viewed an apartment at the end of the block that we had for rent. In the meantime, we put a good tenant in place and now, four months later the buyer came into the office to ‘have a chat’. He was ready to buy and wanted to discuss what he could purchase at that entry level in Main Beach. The result of our conversation was that he put an offer on and is about to become the proud owner of Apartment 3/35 Breaker Street! Congratulations to the Seller and the Buyer, who is very happy to be moving into his new home.
Another of those ‘unmentionable’ Contracts is now unconditional – Apartment 38 Norfolk, which like Axis, sold virtually overnight. Congratulations to the Seller and Buyers, who are very pleased. Also to Carmen, who negotiated the sale!
We have had two Settlements this week - Apartment 3 Kings Row Centre and Glenaura Drive, Tallai - Congratulation, once again, to the happy Sellers and Buyers. Also, to Carmen, myself and Francesco!

In Main Beach, a fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment in Royal Surfrider, with magnificent broadwater and ocean views, for rent at $625,000 and a fully furnished 1 bedroom apartment in Maldives for $400 per week. We also have an unfurnished 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment at 45 Pohlman Street, Southport for $330 per week.

Mr. Jeeves wishing Carmen a Happy Birthday!
Mr. Jeeves' good wishes did tend to spread the word about Carmen's birthday. A group of us were having dinner at De Vitos Restaurant on Saturday night to celebrate with Carmen and during dinner she received a number of text messages wishing her "Happy Birthday", as our locals had seen the sign. One actually included a photograph of Mr. Jeeves and the sign! How good is that...
Oh, is anyone wondering how Carmen saw her text messages in the middle of a 'function' - there is clearly no way to keep a good agent down... No, that does not guarantee that she will respond to your messages after 7 pm!
