Whilst looking for an appropriate saying to capture the last fortnight at MBPS, i.e. sayings about treadmills - as it has been like being on a treadmill… A good thing, not bad! I located not only our heading this week, however, also “The difference between TRY and TRIUMPH is a little UMPH”, which I loved and thought very appropriate, in so many ways. Not only for us as Agents, however, for those buyers out there who are now desperately ‘trying’ to find their new homes in this time of ‘madness’…
Yes, it has been a busy fortnight – where did that go? My apologies for missing last week’s Newsletter – my reasoning is evidenced below…
We have literally been “on the run” over the past 2 weeks - resulting in our negotiating 6 contracts of sale! Including one property not even on the market and sourced for a buyer… All are currently ‘conditional’ so, once again, not yet ‘mentionable’…
We have had 6 settlements this fortnight. So, congratulations to the happy sellers and buyers of Apartments 54 Pacific Views, 9 De Ville, 77 Ocean Sands, 1 Xanadu East, 7 Yachting Towers and 503 Axis. A great effort by the Sales Team! We would also like to thank the Sellers for entrusting us with the sale of their properties.

This week we are sharing the photograph of me relaxing (???) in our new chair out the front of the shop, with Santa on our ‘moving screen’ in the background, for a reason… That being that we wanted to share a funny story and we need you to have the visual. The story is from the ‘front desk’, Wendy and Samira -
“We were sitting behind our desk and we hear in a loud ‘little voice’ – “I did a poo, I did a big poo, I did a poo”… We look out to the footpath to see a little boy ‘at potty training age’ telling this to Santa ‘who looks very real’ on our front screen display… This little fella was very pleased with himself and obviously thought this was worthy news to tell Santa to secure an extra present.”
It gave us great pleasure and a good laugh, so we thought we would share… Although, I did wonder if appropriate, however, the Team all agreed it was…

Mr. Jeeves...
Christmas cheer!
We have not totally neglected Mr. Jeeves, who continues to attract lots of attention. I heard one of our locals say to him (Mr. Jeeves) the other day – “Oh, this is where you have moved to” and appearing delighted to know that he was ‘still around’… The gentleman could be amongst the many part time locals who have returned from ‘exile’… We are seeing so many familiar faces back ‘on the street’, which is great. So, welcome home to those of you who have finally been able to return!
