This week at MBPS Main Beach Property Sales

I wrote our last week’s Newsletter on January the 3rd, the 10th year Anniversary of the Opening of our Agency… However, when I returned to my computer in the early hours of the 4th it was not to be found, as it had not saved… I then decided it was obviously not meant to be written. So, here we are now on the 8th with our “Welcome to the New Year” a little late – I hope that it is not an omen for the rest of the year… We could say this week’s Newsletter is early for me!
I do recall writing, in keeping with our saying, about the fact we opened our ‘boutique’ agency, with a Sales Team of one, Carmen, and a part-time admin person, never aspiring to be where we are today, however, always aspiring to being what we are – Different! Thus, one of our slogans “Experience the MBPS Difference” … A little ‘corny’? Perhaps, however, I believe it is true!
So, now a week into the New Year, we wish you all the very best for 2021!
I know we are all determined to make it a great year. It has certainly been a busy year for us so far…
In Sales we have a new Contract, with Apartment 26 Chidori Court now ‘sold’, as it is under an ‘unconditional’ Contract, so congratulations to the very happy Sellers and Buyer! Also, to Carmen and Claire who bought the parties together!
Apartment 24 Carrington Court is Featured below and has now been released to the broader market. A renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, right across the road from the Beach at $590,000 is now ‘rare’ and possibly impossible to match in Main Beach. That is of course, if you would like to live, or have a holiday home, just across the road from the beach…
We now have ‘limited’ photographs of the house at 23 Peterson Avenue, Southport, that we mentioned last week, so it is also Featured below prior to being released to the broader market. The owner, rightly so, is very “house proud” and was not quite ready for the full “photo-shoot”, however, wanted to release the property to our database and not miss the New Year holiday rush…
As is often the case with MBPS, we have several other ‘irons in the fire’ and believe we will soon be able to present other properties to you, including a Villa or two. So, we will call those buyers, who have registered their interest with us as soon as any of those listings come to fruition.
In the meantime, however, if you are considering selling, we continue to have buyers waiting for a variety of properties, including apartments in Park Lane, Xanadu, The Inlet, Silverpoint, Axis and of course, Villas. We are in the processes of sending ‘genuine buyer’ letters out to all owners within those buildings, so if you know anyone who may consider selling – please save us the stamps… This is a great position for the Main Beach market to be in and we are incredibly happy to be part of it – and pay for the postage, so only jesting!
A busy time also in Property Management with potential tenants seeking accommodation in Main Beach and Paradise Waters. One such family is looking to relocate and would like to rent a house, prior to making the decision to purchase. So, this is again a genuine plea to any of our readers who know of anyone who would like to rent their house either in Main Beach or Paradise Waters. I have gone so far as to research all properties currently on the market for extended periods, e.g., over 200 days and I am about to do a ‘ring around’ – perhaps a good tenant is an idea…
Most of the properties that were available are either now leased or under Application, including an apartment at Axis, that I do not think even ‘hit the rental market’.
We, only this week received a ‘plea’ from Aleesa our Property Manager “Does anybody know of any properties coming available in Main Beach for up to $1000.00 per week, as l have 3 great applications all from professionals looking for properties”. This is in addition to our family looking for the house… Please see our Properties for Lease below, including our New Listings at 7 McCowan Street, Ashmore and 12/96 Pohlman Street, Southport.
So once again, if you are thinking about leasing your property, this is the time…
