This week at MBPS Main Beach Property Sales

This amazing photograph was taken by our friend Steve, from his Main Beach apartment. He wrote I wonder is there a pot of gold at the “ends” of the rainbow, to which I replied "Yes, Main Beach"… How true!
As you know we are always positive within MBPS, however, there is a lot of ‘positivity’ in general in Main Beach again, with passing comments from almost everyone you speak to – and we speak to a few… Comments such as “You can feel the vibe”; “Isn’t it great to see Tedder busy again”; “The restaurants are all so busy”… Yes, it is our peak period, however, this is the best in many years. And, as I have said in recent time, I have not seen such a ‘buoyant’ property market in 10 years in this business. As you may have seen there has also been incredibly positive press articles in recent weeks depicting Main Beach’s ‘come back’ – “Getting its mojo back”.
In my research for an appropriate saying this week I also found - “In every day, there are 1,440 minutes. That means we have 1,440 daily opportunities to make a positive impact.” By Les Brown. It would appear that was written some time ago, as I believe 2021 came with shorter days…. My excuse for last week’s Newsletter not only being late, but not being published. When it got to Sunday, I thought, “too late…”. So now our amalgamated news…
In Sales, we have three New Listings, which once again have not yet been released to the broader market and may well sell before going to market.

We had a settlement last week and another due this Friday, however, I am determined for the Newsletter to go out before Friday – so we would like to Congratulate the Sellers and Buyer of Apartment 4 Woodrowe Place on their settlement last Friday! Once again to Claire and myself, who brought the parties together!
We have also been busy in Property Management - we have leased 3 properties this week and have to others under application. We also have a new listing, Apartment 11 Hughes Ocean Sands. A lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom fully furnished apartment with resort style facilities and just a few paces from the delights of Tedder Avenue dining and shopping precinct. It is available now at $750 per week.
Speaking of positive vibes and positive thoughts, you may recall I mentioned a few weeks ago that I had ‘volunteered’ to be the Treasurer of the Main Beach Business and Tourism Association (MBBTA). We are having a Membership Drive over the next 2 weeks, so I would like to invite those of you who are not yet members to follow the link below to the MBBTA Membership Form. Membership is open to all who would like to support bringing Business and Tourism into Main Beach. That is the simple ‘aim’ of the Association. We would very much appreciate your support!
Also, another “Ad”, we are now looking, not only for an experienced Sales Consultant, however, we require both an experienced Property Manager and an assistance Property Manager, who we are prepared to train. So, please if you know anyone… The Assistant Property Manager does not require Real Estate experience, however, requires “nouse”, administration/computer skills, an eye for detail. And, of course, our ‘ethos’ - looking for a career change – oh, and patience – it is for Property Management…
