Again, in keeping with the MBPS Team and the 150% they continue to give… We are finding that in today’s market we cannot be ‘just’ the average Real Estate Agent, we must be proactive and very much ‘facilitators’. As we are all aware the world has changed in many ways over the past 12 months and we must change with it… Perhaps we should rebrand – MBPS Property Facilitators… We often get so involved that we cannot ‘just’ sell a client’s home, in many cases we are looking to assist them to find another... The list of people looking for new homes continues with little available. Once again, a good position for the ‘market’ to be in…
There are so many scenarios at the moment, I believe by ‘putting it out there’ all those pieces of the ‘jigsaw puzzle’, we often speak about, will fall into place!
I came across these sayings, which I thought also appropriate given our current market:

Another of our amazing jigsaw puzzles came together this week with the settlement, after 6 months, of Apartment 70 Xanadu. The buyers, who purchased sight unseen whilst in lockdown in Melbourne are delighted with their new home. What a relief for us all… They are delightful and will bring added colour and life to Our Village. Congratulations to them! Oh, and to me, as I was the Seller, as in “Seller” - not the selling agent... We have shared their photograph here after I asked them about sharing their story - "OMG only too happy to share our long journey and your understanding of Victorians that we’re locked down under house arrest !!!!! Sooo many people we talk to show so much feeling for Victorians during 2020 and now it started again. Our life as Queenslanders again is so uplifting , added another 10 yrs to our life and luckier enough to live in the best place in the world , Main Beach Gold Coast."
We would also like to congratulate our lovely clients, the Sellers of Apartment 1071 Liberty Pacific, on the settlement of their home this week! I was pleased to have been able to facilitate the sale and again to welcome the Buyer to our Main Beach Village.
The Property Management Team also continued to be busy and have leased 3 properties this week - Apartment 59 “The Meriton”, 5 The Decks and 3/176 Surf Parade, Broadbeach.

MBBTA and MBPA to Merge?
You may recall I mentioned a few weeks ago that I had ‘volunteered’ to be the Treasurer of the Main Beach Business and Tourism Association (MBBTA). The MBBTA are holding a General Meeting on Monday 22 February at Manos to seek agreement of the members to ‘merge’ with the Main Beach Progress Association (MBPA) to form one Association to work towards bringing ‘the vibe’ and business back to ‘Our Main Beach’.
