Those of you who know Main Beach, know that we are a small friendly compassionate Community. I realise I have mentioned that before, however, did I mention how fortunate we are - no, not the fortune of $, the fortune of the community and being surrounded by people who care…
I wrote this week’s Newsletter last week and then found that due to a change of circumstance its content was not relevant at this time – as you know life changes daily… So, whilst writing ‘late’ last evening – a habit now… It was Wendy, our Director of First Impressions, who sent a text suggesting the theme of our Newsletter this week should be about “our wonderful village Main Beach”. She further wrote “is not only for the amazing residents but the furry friends who are also part of our community”. As you know, Wendy has treats in her top draw at reception and we feed those furry friends, who have become part of our family. We should not admit, however, we are quicker to remember the dog’s names, then their owners… Wendy was clearly having a ‘toast’ to one such ‘furry friend’ Huey, pictured below, who I am sure anyone who has walked the streets of Main Beach will know. Sadly, Huey, to use Wendy’s words “went to pet heaven” on Thursday this week at the ripe old age of 17 years and as she wrote “When we lose one, we all feel it. Thank you to Main Beach for the love and support you are all giving Bob and Margaret – WOW what a village we live in” … So, here’s to Huey, who has given us all many laughs over the years!

I had a small accident, that resulted in two black eyes – mine, not the other person… No there was no other person – I stupidly attempted to walk through a glass door, rapidly… The only reason I mention it is because of one of those feel good moments – no not the walking into the door – the ‘community compassion’ that came by way of a lovely text I received from one of our locals who noticed the reminisce of the damage this week (to me not the door)... He did not mention it whilst in my company, clearly not to embarrass me and then sent a message simply saying “Hi Annette noticed your right eye. Is there anything you need. Or sorted.” How nice was that... I did confess to my ‘stupidity’ and assured our local friend that I am not ‘a battered wife’.
To business - In sales this week:

Apartment 61 Contessa will go to market next week at ‘Offers over’ $1 million, if not sold before. The tenants are currently vacating, so that we will be Open for Inspection at any time. Likewise, with both Malibu, which was released to the broader market this week seeking ‘Offers over’ $1.3 million and Apartment 39 Carrington Court, listed at ‘Offers over’ $670,000. We have also features these properties below, together with Apartment 30 Yachting Tower, which has just been released to the broader market, listed at $850,000.
