Our saying this week came about by the generosity of those who supported the Main Beach ‘The Biggest Morning Tea’, the fund-raiser for the Cancer Foundation held by the Main Beach Business and Tourism Association (Our Main Beach) on Thursday this week, 27 May, up in the former Veranda Bar (now The Venue GC). Local cafés donated the morning tea, other businesses the prizes for the raffles, champagne and flowers. Jay Pask, our neighbour, supported the event by putting on an amazing Fashion Parade. It was a great success and a good time was had by all!
The generosity of everyone who participated is very much appreciated – Thank you!
The Biggest Morning Tea is a fundraiser held all around Australia on 27 May each year. How good would it be if next year the entire street participated? This is what the Main Beach Business and Tourism Association (Our Main Beach) is all about – the Main Beach Community and bringing events into Main Beach with community participation.

Apartment 19 Spinnaker also settled yesterday, so congratulations to the incredibly happy Sellers and Buyers! Also, to Claire and myself who bought the parties together.

Mr. Jeeves...
Missing in Action
Our mascot of 9 years Mr. Jeeves sadly went ‘walk-about’ last Sunday… Yes, very sad and we have been living in the hope that he would return – however, he has not.
We are, as always, thinking on the positive side and hoping that some ‘sad’ passer-by, who may have had a ‘drink or two’ too many was lonely and felt like a companion. Can you imagine waking up after a ‘big night’ to find Mr. Jeeves with you… Perhaps, now the ‘borrower’ is too embarrassed to bring him home. There is no other explanation!
So, if you ‘find’ our Mr. Jeeves, who is picture here in his best outfit, we will reward you!
I think Wendy is more upset because she cannot replace his ‘Tucks suit’ (no not duck’s suit…) and the little hat she brought home from NZ…
