I find myself saying more and more these days – “It is all about relationships”, it’s not about what we earn dollar wise, it is all about what we earn in relationships. Sure, we need to eat and drink, however…
The last few weeks has bought that home to me more and more – If it weren’t for one of those ‘special’ relationships I would not have been in Longreach two weeks ago… If it weren’t for so many others, we would not be in the wonderful space we are in now. I don’t just mean the shop, although that is also because of the support of those who we have built “relationships” with over the years, however, more our thriving business in Main Beach. Once again, how lucky are we!
Our hearts go out to all those less fortunate – not only those in “lockdown”, however, those who are battling difficulties in their business, both through COVID and with other business challenges, which we all know can be overwhelming at times… That thought comes from knowing that one of our local friends is facing enormous challenges in his business right now. We wish he and his Team all the best.
