This week at MBPS Main Beach Property Sales
Along with success comes a reputation for wisdom - Euripides
It has been suggested that my ‘ramblings’ may cause dizziness – if so, I do apologies…
In considering an appropriate saying for our Newsletter this week, I typed three words that were forefront in my mind - Wisdom, Positivity, Reputation – then, as I do, I went to my friend “Google” to research for an appropriate saying. Strangely my search relating to ‘reputation’ lead me to quotes on wisdom… Intrigued, I investigated and found the saying that took me from ‘reputation’ to ‘wisdom’ - “The way to gain a good reputation is to endeavor to be what you desire to appear” by Socrates, in turn took me to his sayings on Wisdom…
In attempting to tie the two in together I found our heading, which seemed appropriate. Then I found a Blog by Ca Hemant C Lodha – “Words of Wisdom on Reputation”, in which one of his sayings “Work on your reputation until it is established; when it is established, it will work for you”. In my view that is wisdom! Amongst Lodha’s Blog I found the following, which I thought I would share:
Greatness comes by beginning something that doesn't end with you.
Reputation is what you are in the light; character is what you are in the dark.
You can't build a reputation on what you're going to do.
You don't get a second chance to make a first impression.
You have two things in this world...your name and your word... no one can take them away from you, but you.
Last by not least – “Your outlook determines your outcome”, which I believe comes back to ‘Positivity’… Thank you, ‘Google’!
An update on MBPS –
We do not have any New Listings to offer this week, however, we have re-featured the XXV Breaker Street Penthouse, which was released to the broader market on Monday and has attracted significant enquiry so far. Sadly, inspections, for some, are inhibited by the border closures. Claire and I are working on the sale together, so please call either of us for further information or to arrange an inspection.
We have had a big week with 4 Settlements… Apartments 29 Admiral North; 2025 Liberty Panorama; 1204 Maldives and 16/51 Pohlman Street, Southport all settling in the one week. We would like to congratulate the very happy Sellers and Buyers! Also, the entire MBPS Sales Team, who each had a hand in the successful outcomes!
Property Management have continued to be busy, with several New Listings that will be released to the market soon.
As always, we have ‘genuine’ buyers looking to secure a ‘piece’ of Main Beach, anything from 2 bedroom Apartments to Villas and Houses…
If you are looking for the MBPS Team this afternoon after 3 pm, we are all gathering at Macintosh Park to have an Aussie BBQ and a wee sip of Champagne to celebrate Wendy and Samira becoming Australian Citizens today – Congratulation to them both! It takes a very special occasion to close MBPS even for a few hours and this is one such occasion. They are both very excited and wanted to celebrate with their ‘MPBS Family’.
