I woke up recently to this saying sent as an SMS from Claire, who had kindly shared with me late in the night – thank you Claire! I thought it an appropriate saying for our Newsletter as, we as a Team, strive to have pleasure in our work on a daily basis and trust that it puts the perfection in our work...
I recently had occasion to address and endeavour to put into words what sets us, MBPS, aside from the ‘norm’ and whilst ‘honesty, integrity and service’ always come to mind, I believe this saying goes a long way towards summing it up!
I thought I would share a little snapshot of our ‘Main Beach’ lifestyle this week - ‘the fisherman’s friend’, as I know him – another Main Beach character…
In business this week it truly feels like the ‘lull before the storm’…
Whilst we are busy doing appraisals for those, in many cases, who have interest in the value of their property in the current market, when asked ‘where will you go’, the realisation sets in ‘that is the problem’. It is nice to consider ‘cashing in on the current market’, however, if you are not relocating or downsizing and you love where you are, ‘where do you go’? Thus, the lack of stock…
As I mentioned last week, we have albeit ‘sold out’… However, when the borders open next week, we will be ‘entertaining’ a large number of southerners wanting a ‘piece of Main Beach’, with dollars burning a hole in their pocket. So, we are bracing for the onslaught!
As I say regularly, this is great for the market - supply and demand!

This week three of our ‘unmentionable’ Contracts, Apartment 9 Marquis on Main; Apartment 3 Calais and 4/29 Watson Esplanade, Surfers Paradise, became unconditional, so they are now considered ‘SOLD’ – Congratulations to the very happy Sellers and Buyers! Also, to the MBPS Team!
