This week I have heard so many wonderful stories relating to good deeds being carried out due to the pandemic and the stress it is causing businesses and the community. Thus, our heading… Stories of retirees who pitched in and assisted a local business, who were “in need” due to staff shortages, to a simple act of kindness in letting a mother with small children ‘jump the que’ whilst waiting in line for a COVID test… Difficult times often bring out the best in people!
I am back to my old habit of writing the Newsletter over a glass of red – yes, strictly one glass these days, albeit a large one… Also, late instead of early and a ‘fortnightly’ this week instead of ‘weekly’ – what a start to the New Year…
Where did the past 2 weeks go? It is difficult for me to believe that we are already at the end of week 2 of 2022. If the year continues as it has started, we will soon be sending you Christmas greetings…
In Sales this week - we have 3 New Listings, 3 Contracts of Sale and we have had 2 Settlements, so a good start…
One of our contracts of sale is on the apartment in The Nelson, which was only ‘mentioned’ in our last Newsletter. We did not have an opportunity to obtain photography - it is ‘sold’… Congratulations to the happy Seller and Buyers!
We do, however, have another 2 bedroom apartment now available in “The Nelson”.
