This week our focus remains on ‘generosity’… We are taken aback by the generosity of the Main Beach Community to the MBPS Flood Relief Donation Point and thank everyone, sincerely. The Donation point was the incitive of Wendy, our Director of First Impressions and her Husband, David, for which we are very grateful. David has also played a significant part in the delivery process, together with one of our wonderful locals, Chris – what an amazing job they have done! They have made 5 trips to the drop off point at Bangalow to enable the much needed items to be distributed to the hundreds of flood victims around the Gold Coast and Northern NSW in a timely fashion. The generosity seems to be never-ending, which is amazing - as you can see from the photograph above, which shows only a few of the deliveries… Thank you also to those who have been ‘spreading the word’!
Another integral link in the process has been a gentleman in Bangalow, known as “Hocky”, who has been taking delivery of the items and ensuring they are delivered directly to the flood victims. I would also like to thank all the MBPS Team for their part in ensuring that each delivery is accepted personally with thanks and appreciation. At the same time managing to do “business” as usual…
Yes, there has been a lot happening over the past 2 weeks – we have had 5 Contracts, one of which is on a listing that literally came in and out on the same day… I did obtain permission to share the photo below of our ‘local friend’ who is clearly in shock at having purchased and selling - all in three days, without being in the market to do either - it was clearly one of those ‘jig-saw’ puzzles that was just meant to be…

The picture alongside our shocked friend is of the gift they presented to me after the events of the weekend. If you look careful you will see the picture used in our Newsletter of February 26, 2022 – Stop and smell the Roses. Hand made from MBPS writing pads – how thoughtful and very much appreciated. I think they were trying to give me a hint - I don’t suppose that was that I should purchase a treadmill for the office…
So, amongst our sales are the Sub-penthouse in XXV Breaker Street; Apartment 18B The Inlet, which was listed and sold within days, Apartment 2021 Liberty, which sold the day it went out to the wider market (albeit through our database); an ‘unmentionable’ and Apartment 71 Xanadu, which we did not have time to mention…
We have also had 6 Settlements, Apartment 12 Pacific Views; Apartment 38 Kings Row South, Apartment 65 The Nelson and the delayed settlement of 3 Units in 11 Cronin Avenue. So, congratulations to the happy Sellers and Buyers! And, of course, the MBPS Team!
We also have a New Listing in ‘Signature on High’ at 84-89 High Street Southport.
