Just a week or so ago we were told La Niná had left us and here we are at the beginning of another ‘weather event’! Fine weather for ducks anyway, and our very own Mr Jeeves will revel in it! He was right at home in the surf during the photo shoot with our sales ladies recently… The term ‘lovely weather for ducks’ came into use in the first half of the 1800’s, it’s origin seems simply to be a reference to the ease at which ducks deal with wet weather! Apparently, like us, they indeed prefer fine weather and the rain can wash out the oil in their feathers causing buoyancy and waterproofing issues! Recent sales at MBPS include:
* A new contract on the Oscar On Main listing this week;
* Whilst the Xanadu East apartment has now gone unconditional.
