Spring Is The Time Of Plans + Projects - Leo Tolstoy
Never before, quite so much, have we welcomed the arrival of Spring. Always a time for optimism and change and new beginnings it has arrived this year without fanfare but pushed what feels like a longer than usual Winter into the past.
Unlike much-loved, seasonal Spring, I am a perennial optimist and have been working on some projects and planning myself, hence the selection of Tolstoy’s quote as a theme this week. I also, once again, saw a connection to buying and selling… Although selected for the face-value meaning only (I am by no means well-read or an academic) I concur with Tolstoy's religious and philosophical view that violence is unacceptable in any form. Those of you who are not aware, Tolstoy was the author of “War and Peace”, which was first published in its entirety in 1869...
We have certainly felt the arrival of Spring, with a notable increase in buyer activity over the past week or so. I believe that, added to the continued ‘shortage of stock’, it leaves our market in an advantageous position!
Settled Sales this week – 57 Xanadu, 37 Oscar On Main, 402 Park Lane and 109 Crescent Avenue, Hope Island. Congratulations to the sellers and buyers and congratulations also to the Sales Team. Carmen, involved in all three sales and to Mary who helped to facilitate two of the sales in Main Beach and also to Claire who brought the parties together for the Hope Island Sale.
