I would like to thank the entire MBPS team for their assistance, support, and patience in recent months during times of staff shortages and pending the arrival of the new addition to our Team, David Sheekey. David has joined us in Property Management and brings his vast expertise in property from New South Wales. So, we welcome David, not only to our MBPS family, but to this wonderful community and village, Main Beach. Welcome David!
Yes, we have once again introduced a male to what has been an all-female Team for many years. Some may wish him luck!
I am looking forward to working with David and drawing on his expertise, as he and I will work closely together managing and building our Property Management Division. I will be liaising with our Landlords and David with the tenants and managing and maintaining the properties in our portfolio. All of course, with the assistance of the Team!
Now I can be relieved of a significant amount of my ‘desk duties’, so to speak, I can return to the ‘front of house’ – or is it the footpath… Thank heavens for a great Team, who all ‘pitch in’ when the need arises and to whom I am very grateful!
This week has been another busy week in Sales, particularly with appraisals, so watch this space…
We do have one new listing with Apartment 18 Scalinada being presented to our database only, at this stage. Featured below is the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment on Level 3 of Scalinada, a pristine three level walk-up complex. Yes, there continues to be a shortage of properties for sale and for lease, i.e. stock, and we are not ‘Robinson Crusoe’… So, with the lively and energetic vibe currently in Main Beach, we can’t help but feel positive about the market.
We have had 2 contracts this week, both of which are ‘unmentionable’ at this stage, as not yet unconditional, so we will report further down the track.
In Property Management – the 3 bedroom apartment in De Ville has been leased and the townhouse in Mermaid Waters is now ‘under application’. We do, however, have 5 properties that will be presented to the rental market soon. They include, a 2 bedroom apartment in Ocean Sands, another in Xanadu, another in Grand Mariner, Paradise Waters and a fourth in Marine Parade, Southport. Also, a 3 bedroom, plus study, Villa in Mountbatten Avenue, Main Beach… So please call us for further information. The 1 bedder in The Sands, Surface Paradise, is also still available at this stage…
