I received a call this evening from one of our part time locals, who has been through difficult times of late and called to tell me that she is now celebrating a ‘win’. I was very pleased to hear from her, as I could hear the relief in her voice. I said I was just sitting down to write the Newsletter, however, I had not even thought of a ‘theme’, as the week had disappeared again. She said ‘courage’, so thus it is. She then said, friends, as clearly those two things were paramount in seeing her through difficult times. I am sure everyone reading this can relate.
The definition of courage according to Wikipedia seemed apt - Courage is the choice and willingness to confront agony, pain, danger, uncertainty, or intimidation.
Another saying that I appreciated and thought we should share is one from Mark Twain - “Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear - not absence of fear.”
Interestingly, whilst writing this I recalled that ‘courage’ was one of 3 words used by a dear friend only this week when encouraging one of our Team members to be positive and dispel the ‘fear’ that can come from the shortage of properties to sell… She said “Patience-Faith-Courage are required if you wish to achieve resilience. Fear needs to be replaced by courage if you want to achieve. We get caught in fear, we thrive in courage”! Thank you ‘V’ for the words of wisdom and allowing me to share!
We must, as in any business, ‘ride the storm’ and be prepared to be run off our feet again when required. As I have said many times, it is good for the market – it is all about ‘Supply and Demand’!

Speaking of ‘courage’ the Pan Pacific Masters Games arrives to the Gold Coast this weekend –
