I believe I have heard the word “wisdom” more in recent weeks than I have in my lifetime. Is this again an ‘aging thing’ although, I have banned those words - or is it being more attuned and appreciating it when you are around ‘it’… What is ‘it’? I believe my Dad had ‘it’ and my dear late husband Carl, without a doubt... Is wisdom something we learn or are we born with ‘it’? Can ‘it’ be aligned with ‘common sense’, which often appears not so ‘common’ these days…
So, I went to the forever informative Wikipedia, which states: “Wisdom, sapience, or sagacity is the ability to contemplate and act using knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense and insight. Wisdom is associated with attributes such as unbiased judgment, compassion, experiential self-knowledge, self-transcendence and non-attachment, and virtues such as ethics and benevolence.”
If we stop and think, we may all have the ability to be wise, if we choose to take up the option… Or perhaps for some of us it maybe having the sense to listen to the wisdom of others!
I also learnt this week that we have not been ‘busy’ we have been ‘productive’ – much more appropriate…

On the MBPS Family front, we have ‘bittersweet’ news this week, as we have lost one of our precious Team members, Samira, who has relocated to Brisbane. The ‘bitter’ is, of course, our loss and the ‘sweet’ is Samira’s excitement and joy at the new life ahead of her. As, I said to her at our sad farewell, “the world is your oyster”. Samira will be sadly missed, and we wish her all the very best with her bright future.
