Thoughts of friends and the value they add to our lives brought on the theme of our Newsletter this week. Is it again the ‘aging’ process that perhaps gives us more appreciation of our friends? Last week we spoke of wisdom and that stemmed from ‘conversation’ with friends and the wisdom they have that often steers us in the right direction…
Today I was speaking with a stranger on the footpath, as I do… I made a comment to which he replied “it is all about relationships” – I thought, he must be reading our Newsletter, how often do we say that? If he is not, it is perhaps just that I was speaking with a ‘like minded person’, which is more often the case than you can imagine. I wonder is that again as a result of living in our lovely Main Beach Village…
Interestingly, a number of those ‘relationships’ that have developed over my years with MBPS, have become my dear friends – thank you MBPS or is it Main Beach!
I could not resist but to share – “Wrinkles should merely indicate where smiles have been” - Mark Twain.
