According to one of our lovely locals, I am “constant”. Thus, our saying this week… I took it as a positive, not a negative, as I opened the shop last Sunday at 8:30 am – running late for my desired 8 am opening… Later I thought, ‘is that a good thing or a bad thing’? However, after a visit to my friend ‘Google’ I found ‘constant’ is “something or someone that is reliably present or available - merriam-webster.com”, I decided it was a compliment – how nice is that – another Main Beach advantage - thank you!
I also liked some of the common synonyms of constant “faithful, loyal, resolute, staunch, and steadfast”. Although, I decided I am starting to sound little like a ‘loyal pet’…
A few weeks ago, we spoke of being ‘productive’ instead of ‘busy’ and we have been… Interesting how ‘things’ develop… Without intentionally doing so we have in recent months ‘grown’ our Property Management division, having added 9 New Managements to our portfolio - we have been very ‘busy’ being ‘productive’… Potentially from ‘seeds’ already planted through our being ‘constant’... I believe it must be the ‘universe’ making up for the lack of ‘stock’ in Sales…
I do know that it has nothing to do with the fact that I am now ‘managing’ the Property Management division, as we have always had a great “PM Team”, however, I am enjoying this aspect of the business, so I have decided to continue doing so, as I am the liaison with our clients. Of course, I could not do it without our new Leasing and Maintenance Manager, David, who is doing all the ‘work’, with incredible support from the “MBPS Team” – again, a sincere ‘thank you’! I made this decision, as I am enjoying keeping in touch with our landlords, and doing what I seem to do best “talking” … Now, that will bring a smile to the faces of some, who know me…
