This week at MBPS
Not only is my short-term memory horrible, but so is my short-term memory ...
Recently one of our Main Beach part time locals mentioned that they were concerned about their cognitive skills and upon consultation with a doctor they were told they were perfectly fine, “your filing cabinets are full”. I must say, ‘thank you’ for sharing, as I now use that term frequently when explaining why my recollection of information is not always forthcoming...
No, I am not mentioning this because I forgot to publish the Newsletter - that is due to another busy week at MBPS and how quickly a Friday comes around... I found it necessary to clear some of “my filing cabinets” to settle quietly and think of what has happened at MBPS over the past week, as it seems only moments ago that I put ‘pen to paper’, so to speak.
Another thing that we naturally assume is an aging ‘thing’ is the speed in which time passes. My theory is that it is due to ‘technology’ and the ‘instant’ world we live in. I find that even the ‘young’ people we speak with say – ‘time just disappears’...
As I often do, I had a quick visit to my friend ‘Google’ this morning and found an interesting article on cognitive skills, for those who may be interested, you can follow the link below.
Speaking of ‘links’ we are endeavouring to be more ‘visible’ on social media, so please follow us on Facetime and Instagram via the icons below.
Also, I am learning daily, the importance of testimonials to any business ‘these days’, so please feel free to express your ‘good experience’ with any of our Team at MBPS with our friend “Google”, via the link below. I have only just discovered that you do not have to have bought or sold through us – you may just have had a good ‘experience’ that you would like to share! We very appreciate your support. Now to the important matter of ‘business’ –
We mentioned last week our new listing in the sought after ‘The Inlet’. Apartment 24B is featured below and really does need to be seen to be appreciated – as I often say, “it is all about feel” and this ‘feels’ amazing! Located on level 24 and encased in a sea of floor to ceiling glazing it extracts the very best out of the elevated position. The view is extensive and quite complex. Every minute of every day it is evolving, encompassing 180 degrees of the Main Beach vista including the bright blue Pacific Ocean, lights of Surfers Paradise, the Nerang River over MacIntosh Island and the Hinterland in the distance. The spectacular views take centre stage in almost every room. Listed at $2,275,000, it may never go to out to the broader market... Please call me at any time to arrange a private inspection.
Also featured below is Apartment 16 Malibu, which is listed at “Offers over $990,000” providing incredible value for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in Main Beach. Centrally located on Tedder Avenue, Claire says “High Rise living without the height”. This 4th floor, Northeast facing apartment is presented in vibrant earthy tones and dark solid timber planking floor, both complimenting the tree-scape garden views visible from the floor to ceiling windows and doors that open on to the full-length, highly practical balcony. Please call Claire on 0414 525 212 for further information or to arrange an inspection.
Apartment 26/72 Marine Parade is SOLD, as the Contract become unconditional this week. So, congratulations to the Seller and Buyers and to Claire who brought the parties together!
Have a great weekend!
Very best wishes, Annette and the MBPS Team
