Being forever the optimist, I never like to introduce the word failure, however, our saying this week appeared apt, as we do, from time to time, ‘fail’ to obtain a listing that we dearly coveted and it is hard not to be disappointed, although we always remain positive and ‘enthusiastic’... As the old saying goes ‘you win some, you lose some’ or more importantly in our industry, ‘it is not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game’... As long as we have played the game to the best of our ability, we remain grateful that we were approached in the first instance.

On an enthusiastic, positive note and speaking of listings – we have 3 New Listings this week...

Apartment 104 Spinnaker has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with a 2 car lock up garage and storage – a very rare find in Main Beach. The high standard of the apartment’s refurbishment some 10 years ago is obvious and that, together with the magnificent views from Level 26, its garage and space, make it well worth viewing. So please call me, or any of the Sales Team, to arrange an inspection by appointment at any time.

Apartment 7, 28 Woodroffe Avenue, Main Beach is a ‘split-level’ 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, courtyard apartment situated in the low-set complex of Woodrowe Place. We have an excellent long term tenant in place, so some notice for inspections would be appreciated, however, he is very obliging. We are, as we often do, offering to our clients initially, prior to going to market.

Apartment 6 Scalinada, also a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom ground floor apartment, although a few steps to the entry, is currently undergoing a complete renovation, which has been delayed, as is the norm these days... However, we are able to facilitate inspections next week pending the renovation being completed on January 21st. Again, providing an opportunity to our clients pre going out to the broader market. So, once again, please all any of the Sales Team to arrange to view.

Our Property Management Department continues to be busy and to grow, with new managements continuing to come in. The latest being Apartment 1A Beachside Towers, the rather unique Ground Floor - Absolute Beachfront, furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom ground floor apartment, which is as close to the beach as you can get. It occupies a much prized position 'on the sand' in Main Beach, with the lounge/dining and main bedroom opening to a balcony/courtyard, grass area leading to the pool and direct beach access. It will be open to view on Tuesday between 11 and 11:20 am and available to occupy on the 13th of January, at $1,050 per week.

The Local Tedder Ave... Under new management

The Local Tedder Ave, located in our block on Tedder, is under ‘new management’ and just like all others, it is busy, which is great for the new owners, Jay and Cathy. They are a delight, very welcoming and speaking of ‘enthusiasm’ – they have oodles of it... They have plans to enhance the café, which I am hoping they share with us soon and we wish them all the very best with their new venture!
