This week at MBPSLife is a learning curve...

I was writing an email this morning and it suddenly provided the theme for our Newsletter... Is this not so true? When you look at the definition of “learning curve” - “a situation in which someone has to learn a lot in a short period of time” – is that not life?
It certainly has been in my experience and everyday I feel is a new lesson – how fortunate are we. Yes, not a new challenge, but rather ‘a new lesson’...
The other saying that again I must attribute to my dear Dad, although I do not believe he was the author – “practice makes perfect”...
And, as Henry Ford once said: “Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at 20 or 80” – so let’s keeping learning!
These thoughts all came about due to outlining the learning curve that my new assistant (or my 2IC for the future), Michelle, is undertaking and the realisation this week that I was 55 years old when I started this new career, called “MBPS” in 2010 – wow where did that 12 years go. I often say to people - you will see me here, out the front, when I am 80 – possibly not a pretty sight, but definitely still laughing...
