This week at MBPS
The rewards do not come unless you earn them...
This is so true in all things in life, whether it be as a competitor in sports, or in business.
My thoughts this week came from a very simple comment made to me in passing...
It had never dawned on me to ‘sit’ and wait for the money to arrive in my bank account, without putting the ‘effort’ into earning it. I believe I realised from a very early age of watching my Mother and Father both work very hard to put food on the table, let alone have a holiday, that the money did not arrive into the account unless you worked hard to earn it. As they would say “money does not grow on trees”... That was the ‘norm’ in those days, and I am sure those words were household words...
If you dream to win the Lottery you may continue to ‘dream’, if you work to achieve the goal you will achieve!
Another comment made in passing this week caused me to also think of the saying - “You can't understand someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes”...
This week we have, as always, all been working towards achieving and we know our ‘efforts’ will be rewarded.
We have another new listing, hot off the press again – the ink has only just dried overnight... Apartment 17C Sunbird is - Ocean views, fully renovated, Level 17! Situated directly across the road from the beach, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with 1 car space. Carmen says “Consider this one your lucky charm, your beachside home… listed for sale at $1,150,000”… Please call her to arrange an inspection at any time. It will be released to the broader market once photography is obtained late next week. So, there is an opportunity to ‘sneak in’ beforehand.
Also, another unmentionable Contract which will potentially result in a New Listing. A little bit of ‘mystery’, as the jig-saw-puzzles’ have not yet fallen into place. I could blame Claire for the late Newsletter as we have been awaiting another Contract of Sale, however, in reality it was already late and now whilst we have received the Contract, it is also unmentionable... So, two new Contracts this week!
We have a motivated Seller who has significantly reduced the price of 5 Woodrowe Place, from $850,000 to ‘Offers over $799,000’. In our opinion, for those who have been looking for ‘a steal’, and there a lot of buyers out there – this would be a property you should consider. Given we sold number 7 in the same complex, unrenovated with a smaller courtyard at $765,000. If you are looking to ‘get into Main Beach’ or add to your portfolio, this is great value!
We have had two settlements this week – Apartment 19 Malibu and 304 The Maldives. We would like to congratulate the Sellers who gave us the pleasure of selling on their behalf. Congratulations also to the Buyers and welcome to Main Beach to the first time residents who purchased Malibu and welcome back to the new owner of The Maldives! What is that old saying? You can take the buyer out of Main Beach, but you can’t take Main Beach out of the Buyer... I know that is not it, however, I could not resist... Congratulations also to Claire and Carmen respectively on their Sales.
