Well, it has been a long time between drinks, as they say... Really, it has been a long time between Newsletters – a first for MBPS to not be touch for three weeks, for which we apologise. Mother’s Day came and went and so did the balance of May. Yes, busy times... Who said the market has slowed? ‘Days on market’ have increased in some cases, however, buyer activity is strong, with a continued lack of stock – so a good position to be in!
Our saying this week was chosen over another that we liked – “Time flies. It's up to you to be the navigator” by Robert Orben. We were originally thinking of another Albert Einstein quote – “Stay away from negative people. They have a problem for every solution”... A very ‘wise’ saying, particularly when it comes to property sales. I find it interesting that when we list a property with ‘enthusiasm’, endeavouring to achieve the best possible sale price for the Seller, the people who are most negative are their neighbours or fellow ‘lot owners’, who say, “good luck with that”. The satisfaction comes when we achieve the price...
We have had a few such sales since our last Newsletter – we have Contracts on Apartment 15 Scalinada; 61/42 Stadium Drive; Apartment 107 Xanadu; Apartment 12B The Inlet and Apartment 5 Woodrowe Place. So, congratulations to the happy Sellers and Buyers! Also, to the MBPS Sales Team who have all played a part in the sales!
We have negotiated a Contract on one of our ‘off market’ properties, which is not yet unconditional, so another ‘unmentionable’ for now... Yes, we have been busy!
