I rarely pay attention to social media, however, I do occasionally ‘sneak in’ to have a look at a friend’s post when I receive an alert. Recently I did so and found “Dream Believe Create Succeed”, which inspired me and is in keeping with our saying this week. In my attempt to locate the author I located a saying by Alexander Stubb – “Dream, believe, work hard and succeed”, also in keeping with our MBPS ‘ethos’!
I read that you should program your mind for success by speaking success in your future and this brought me to a quote by Jim Kwik “Your mind is always eavesdropping on your self-talk, choose carefully”. I like that... And there was more - “The mind is just like a muscle - the more you exercise it, the stronger it gets and the more it can expand”... I really like that - by Idowu Koyenikan.
This all came about by my thoughts on positive thinking and ‘the power of the mind’, as whilst we continue to succeed and achieve here at MBSP, there are always those ‘out there’ who are negative and make it difficult for those of us who are endeavouring to uphold property prices and not slash them for a quick sale... As a matter of interest, according to statistics, properties in Main Beach are now 76 days on Market on average... A vastly different story from ‘the days of the ‘bubble’. I call the Pandemic days ‘The Bubble’ because I believe if you have a ‘Boom’ there is inevitably a ‘Gloom’, where ‘The Bubble’ will float for a while before it risers – don’t even think about bursting it, it is not going to happen in Main Beach! As we have said before, we as agents must ‘ride the waves' and achieve the best for our Sellers, albeit in the current market that may mean working a little harder and longer to achieve the best results...

Archie 100 – A Century of the Archibald Prize – HOTA Gold Coast
