I am pleased to say that I am finally back in Main Beach after a wonderful break, thank you once again, to our great MBPS Team. I have been back 2 week, however, as always – hit the ground running... That is my only excuse, for the lack of Newsletters for almost a month - Our apologies!

We were certainly well ahead Channel 9 News, with my ‘rant’ in our last Newsletter about unconscionable behaviour of ‘some’ Real Estate Agents... Sadly, last week Channel 9 reported nationally that, according to the Australia’s Ethics Index 2023, which was recently released by the Governance Institute of Australia, “Real estate agents are now the least ethical occupation, with their perceived behaviour approaching 'somewhat unethical”.

You may wonder why a Real Estate Agent would highlight this news – because we are battling to ‘break the mould’... We could re-brand to be “Property Consultants”, however, our licencing will remain the same, “Licenced Real Estate Agent”... So, we can only continue to fight against the ‘label’ placed upon us and ask that people judge for themselves and not because ‘Brian told me so...’ Now that is a random comment that most may not understand, and it is certainly showing my age. It was a promo for Channel 9 News some 30 or 40 years ago which promoted its news around its two anchors in Sydney and Melbourne, Brian Henderson and Brian Naylor. A little nostalgia for those of you from Sydney and Melbourne with long memories...
