This week at MBPS
Don't get your tinsel in a tangle - Keep calm and get your Ho Ho Ho on!
How true is the saying “Christmas is not so much about opening presents, as opening our hearts”… We have received so many good wishes this week it makes us remember, what a lovely little ‘village’ we live in and once again, how lucky we are!
We are also very lucky to have an exceptionally clever and talented Team member, Claire, who did not only entertain us this week with her clever “Elf on the Shelf” antics, however, gave great joy to many of our local children, their parents and grandparents. Thank you, Claire! We thought we would share in the collage below.
The other enormous success in bringing joy to the Village has been ‘our’ adopted singing Santa. Again, thank you Claire for kindly allowing us to temporarily ‘adopt’ Santa many years ago - he just seems to have stayed... Perhaps like all of us he loves are Village and spreading the joy! The faces of not only the children, but even more their grandparents when they hit the little red button and Santa not only burst into song, but dances... It is pure gold!
I am sure that you have all seen and know the meaning of the Elf on the Shelf, however, for those of you, like me, you did not, according to my friend Google – “The Elf on the Shelf was written in 2004 by Carol Aebersold and her daughter Chanda Bell. Bell suggested they write a book based on their family tradition of an elf sent from Santa who came to watch over children at Christmas time.”
We have shared the Elf rules and code below, as to me, they explained why Elf on the Shelf was a clever creation and nice teaching tool:
Elf rules:
• Don't touch me or I'll lose my magic.
• You can talk or sing to me but I can't talk back.
• Write Santa a letter and I'll deliver it.
• Serve others around you.
• Be kind always.
The Code of the Elves is three simple rules:
• Treat every day like Christmas.
• There's room for everyone on the nice list.
• The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.
We are only speaking briefly in relation to ‘business’ this week, in the event that you are in Main Beach for Christmas and a well-deserved break and have interest in our ‘what’s new’...
So, we have featured below Apartment 21 Carrington Court, that has just been released today to our website and will go out to the broader market next week. Also, Apartment 103 Xanadu, which we have had on the ‘quite’ pending obtaining photography, as we have had limited access due to holiday bookings.
We have had another busy week, during which we have written 3 new Contracts – all of which are ‘unmentionable’, as they are not ‘unconditional’, and one is another ‘off market’ – so watch this space...
We will be here every day, apart from Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day - so please drop in to say hello!
