Our saying and theme for our Newsletter this week came about as I was in discussions with one of our Team members, Mauricio, who many of you will know. He has decided to ‘spread his wings’, so to speak, and take on the role of Sales Agent under the banner of MBPS Gold Coast. A role that we believed Claire would take prior to her decision to take a ‘sabbatical’ from Real Estate...
Mauricio joined MBPS just over a year ago with the view of being an ‘Associate’ to me, i.e. ‘right hand man’, so to speak in Sales. However, he had so many other talents that we found great benefit in keeping him ‘in house’ and selfishly we did not allow him the opportunity to follow his passion as a Sales Agent...
So, in conversation, I was endeavouring to explain the difference between MBPS and a number of other brands that are ‘glossy’ for the want of a better word and I said ‘we do not have gloss, we shine’ – it was said with sincerity, to describe our ‘what you see is what you get’ approach, rather than making promises that we cannot deliver, just to get listings, i.e. ‘the gloss’... Mauricio immediately understood and like the saying – thus our theme!
So, we wish Mauricio every success in taking our MBPS Gold Coast into the future – a very polite young man from Colombia, with so much to offer in personality, old fashion morals and integrity – not to mention his proven ability to sell! Prior to joining MBPS he successfully worked for another agency in Sales around the Coomera, Upper Coomera and other areas on the Gold Coast. I was introduced to Mauricio by the Principal of another independent agency in that area who said “your agency is the perfect ‘fit’ for Mauricio. You should call him” – so I did. The rest is history, as they say...
Whilst we have been working on a number of potential New Listings this past week, or so, they have not yet come to fruition. We have, however, featured below our two New Listings mentioned last week – Apartment 16 The Waterford and Apartment 2403 Park Lane, both of which will be Open for inspection this weekend.
Apartment 82 Xanadu North will also be Open to View this weekend for the first time, as the property is tenanted. So please drop in to visit between 9:30 and 10 am on Saturday.
In Property Management this week we have a New Listing in Carrington Court – Apartment 44 is a very well presented, fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment on Level 14 with ocean views, across the road from the beach and is listed at $990 per week. We are currently awating photography prior to the property being released to the rental market.
