Some of you will recall only some short 14 years ago MBPS took a bold step and opened a small agency just around the corner off Tedder Avenue – we did this for a ‘purpose’ and, no that purpose was not to become what we are today, nor to give me ‘something to do’ – none of the above and little did we dream that by surrounding ourselves with like-minded, good people, both within the agency and in the community, we would grow to what we are today, whilst still being a ‘boutique agency’...
In our Newsletter of the 16th of December 2023 - “The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention – Oscar Wilde”, we mentioned Lynne Goddard, who works tirelessly to create fundraising events through an organisation by the name Showcase IT Inc. The monies they raised go towards medical research and funding the public performances of up and coming artists; talent whose lives have benefited from music as a therapeutic aid; education and improving the mental health and well-being of our communities. Lynne recently invited us to sponsor one such event and we would like to thank Lynne once again for involving us in such a worthy cause. Not only did we, the Team, have a wonderful fun time, we learnt that music is particularly important for mental health. I left the function determined that I was going to take up dancing and learn the piano – no I have not yet taken either on – however, one must plan...
Speaking of Community and our locals, who support us we would also like to thank “The Boyz”, who shared the Sunset taken from their Balcony – it is amazing! We have spoken previously about our local friends “The Boyz” who some years ago travelled around Australia and came back to report – ‘there is nowhere better to live than Main Beach’! That was prior to them making Main Beach their home... Now, as ‘locals’ and after travelling the World they have recently arrived home to say, ‘There is no place in the World they would rather live than Main Beach’. We appreciate that some of you will refute that statement as you have beautiful homes in wonderful areas throughout Australia and overseas – so ‘we’ know we are a ‘little’ bias, however, I am sure you will all agree there is something special about this ‘little Village’...
I appear to have gone off track - getting back to “All great things have small beginnings” - So did Main Beach only a relatively short time ago, which many of you will remember!
We at MBPS have had a remarkably busy and successful week, with a New Contract this very evening – unmentionable at this stage, as it is not yet unconditional; a New Listing coming soon in The Meriton – a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, with a garden aspect. It will be listed at “Offers over $998,000”...
We have had two settlements this week – Apartment 403 ‘Park Lane’ and Apartment 301 Cerulean. Congratulations to the happy Sellers and Buyers and ‘thank you’ to the Sellers for providing us with the opportunity to sell your homes!
Also, I would like to personally thank those of you who read the Newsletter last week and provide us with ‘Reviews’ – ‘Thank you’ and my apologies, for not yet thanking you personally – where did that week go?
