One of our Team members often says “there is no me in team” and today thinking of our Team and how much I appreciate all they do to support me and our customers, which gives MBPS our reputation, I decided to research who first said ‘there is no me in team’, only to find the original saying was, in fact, ‘there is no I in Team’ by Vern Law. Apparently the saying dates back to the 1960s, which by the way is when our Team member was born ...
This all came about as we continue to be busy and at times ‘short staffed’, however, everyone ‘pitches in’ and we achieve the goal. So I wanted to say a special ‘thank you’, once again, to our great MBPS Team! Speaking of ‘pitch’ - Vern Law was a baseball pitcher in the USA in the 1960s (a little Trivia for you)...
So, our ‘pitch’ this week –
We have two New Listings – both ‘off market’:

We are finding ‘the ‘market’ in general at the moment is ‘slower’ than it has been for many years and we are back to ‘longer days’ on market in some cases. Whilst there are buyers on the ground, so to speak, they are not as ‘quick on the uptake’ with days on market stretching out... They are not arguing prices and appear to accept that they will need to pay those prices to secure a piece of Paradise, however, there are fewer who are ‘moving quickly’. I have been saying over recent weeks, if we had the ‘numbers’ through properties that we were having and they were making offers under asking price, then the market would be dictating a ‘price reduction’, however, that is not the case – the jig saw puzzles are simply not always matching up...
Similarly in Property Management – the higher end rentals are taking longer to rent then in recent years. However, in saying that Apartment 43 Admiral North, a luxury 3 bedroom fully furnished apartment with magnificent views, has now been leased after only a short time on the market...
