Our theme this week was to have been in relation to doing ‘a good turn’ for someone, or for that matter something and our reasoning will become evident below in our Main Beach News section, where we speak of the fundraiser Thyme Café are doing next week…
As I often say, if everyone in the world did ‘one’ small thing, towards assisting someone or something, even once, what a better ‘World’ we would be… As I have said before, that could be just a smile to some!
Then, I realised it is Valentines Day tomorrow… So, Happy Valentines Day from us to you!
Now there would be a thought – what if $1 dollar of all flowers purchased was donated to a charity… That brought me to, the meaning of Valentines Day –
According to my friend Wikipedia – “Valentine's Day, also called Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine,[1] is celebrated annually on February 14.[2] It originated as a Christian feast day honoring a martyr named Valentine, and through later folk traditions it has also become a significant cultural, religious and commercial celebration of romance and love in many regions of the world.”
My friend ‘Google’ also offered – “St Valentine's Day is an annual festival to celebrate romantic love, friendship and admiration. Every year on 14 February people celebrate this day by sending messages of love and affection to partners, family and friends.” We learn something every day - I never realised that valentines included friends and family... Now that is different – everyday should be Valentine’s Day, much the same as everyday should be Mother’s Day – in my view...
Enough of my ramblings...
This week has already been a successful week with 3 of our Contracts going unconditional, two of which will settle on Friday. Congratulations to the happy Sellers and Buyers of Apartment 204 The Maldives, 3 The Meriton and 72 Ocean Sands, which sold on first inspection! Once again, congratulations to the MBPS Team!
We also have 4 New Listings –
Two of which are in The Maldives, the building, not the country... Apartment 806 and 1406 which we have as a ‘soft’ sell for now, as there are buyers who viewed Apartment 204 The Maldives, however, wanted the elevation and views that are on offer in either of these two apartments. We do have an opportunity between holiday bookings with Apartment 806 this Friday between 11am and 1pm and Apartment 1406 on Saturday between those hours. So please call to arrange a private inspection.

Thyme Cafe Fundraiser!
Natalie and Jo of Thyme Cafe are “fund raising” for the animal Welfare League Coombabah to purchase a Duck and Chicken Enclosure, for those ducks and chickens that are rescued and in need of a little ‘assistance’ recouping…
So, on Thursday 20th February for every breakfast ordered at their café between 7am to 1pm, either eaten at the café or takeaway, they will donate $5.
Of course, customers can also donate to the cause, which they would be greatly appreciated. I know where my breakfast is coming from next Thursday… Please join me in supporting a worthy cause! I will, of course, be eating my breakfast at my desk, as I am this morning whilst writing to you…
