‘Busy’ creates ‘Business’...

  This week at MBPS - Main Beach Property Services

I believe we could safely say that this past fortnight has been the busiest we have had in the history of MBPS. In ‘re-caping’ to the Sales Team last week, I realised that we had Appraised 10 properties and ‘written’ 9 Authorities to Sell within 1 week... Never before in almost 15 years of MBPS has that been the case – thus our saying this week. Then our ‘busyness’ continued, with further Appraisal opportunities and random buyer enquiry by phone and ‘walk-in’ traffic...

I have been saying for many years that ‘busy creates business’ – What do they say “if you want something done, give it to a busy person”... So I researched, as I do, the meaning of the word "business"... Only to find that it originates from the Old English word "bisignes," meaning "care, anxiety, occupation," and evolved through Middle English to its current meaning of "commerce or trade". Then interestingly I found – “Related Words: The word "business" is related to the word "busy," which also has roots in the Old English word "bisig".” - interesting...

So where do we begin...

Featured below is our new ‘On Market’ listing – Apartment 141 Contessa – a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, with powder room, in originally condition, apart from the 3rd bedroom being built in...So, room for improvement and priced accordingly at $1,750,000. We have also had a settlement this week - Apartment 11 The Nelson - so we would like to congratulate our dear Sellers, who have ‘moved out of town’ after being our ‘local friends’ for many years and congratulate them on the purchase of their new home!
